  1. Hi satnav welcome to the forum, apparently this calima will last until around Friday, there is a lot of sand in the air that needs to clear so it usually takes a few days. It was actually cooler outside this evening than it was in my house, there is a slight breeze.

Hi thanks for the quick reply , just letting my Daughter know as shes over on Hols at the min.

  3. No problem! It's been a lot hotter today, probably as the sun has been out too. There has been the odd warm breeze but it feels like we are in the middle of the heatwave now and today we are on orange weather warning, dropping to yellow tomorrow hopefully.

Cooler for the weekend that sounds nice. The wind is not nice but the breeze is.
  5. It's still hot today but the sky is beginning to clear. Up in Telde it was very windy at times this afternoon which probably means the sand is blowing over the islands instead of hovering, there was also a fresher breeze on the east coast.

In Arguineguin, it's humid but the temperatures are slowly descending and the island is lowered to yellow weather warning from tomorrow.
  6. Well it's Friday already and it does seem like this heatwave is subsiding at last. It's nowhere near as humid as it was earlier in the week and the sky is clearing of sand.
